By accessing or using DevKit4You (devkit4you.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the website.
These terms apply to all visitors and users of DevKit4You regardless of how you access the site — desktop browser, mobile browser, or as an installed Progressive Web App (PWA).
2. Description of Service
DevKit4You provides a collection of free, browser-based developer utilities including but not limited to:
- Base64 encode and decode tools
- Cryptographic hash generators (MD5, SHA-1, SHA-256, SHA-512)
- JSON formatter and validator
- JWT (JSON Web Token) decoder
- URL encoder and decoder
- UUID v4 generator
- QR code generator
- Text diff comparison tool
- Color format converter
- File Base64 encoder and decoder
- Image to Base64 converter
All tools are provided free of charge with no registration required.
3. Permitted Use
You are free to use DevKit4You tools for any lawful purpose, including:
- Personal projects and learning
- Professional and commercial development work
- Debugging and testing applications
- Data conversion and formatting tasks
- Educational purposes
You may share links to DevKit4You freely. You do not need permission to link to any page on this site.
4. Prohibited Use
You agree not to use DevKit4You in ways that:
- Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws or regulations
- Involve attempting to reverse-engineer, scrape, or mirror the site in ways that impair service for other users
- Are intended to deceive, harm, or defraud other individuals
- Involve automated access at volumes that create unreasonable load on the site's infrastructure

Note: Because all tools are client-side, there is no server-side processing to attack. These restrictions are primarily about how you represent and use the service externally.
5. Intellectual Property
The DevKit4You name, logo, design, and original code are owned by DevKit4You and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
The underlying open-source libraries used (such as QRCode.js) are subject to their respective open-source licenses.
You may not:
- Reproduce or redistribute the DevKit4You brand, name, or logo without written permission
- Create a website that poses as, or is substantially identical to, DevKit4You
- Claim ownership of DevKit4You's original code or design
The data you input into our tools remains entirely yours. We claim no ownership, license, or rights over any content you process using DevKit4You.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
DevKit4You is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
- Warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
- Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of tool outputs
You use DevKit4You at your own risk. Always verify critical results — especially hash outputs, decoded tokens, or converted data — before using them in production systems.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DevKit4You and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site or tools, including but not limited to:
- Loss of data or business interruption
- Errors or inaccuracies in tool outputs
- Security incidents resulting from data you choose to process on your device
- Any reliance on information provided by our tools
Because all processing is client-side and we receive no data, our maximum liability in any circumstance is zero.
8. Security Notice
While DevKit4You is designed with privacy in mind, we strongly recommend:
- Do not paste live production secrets (private keys, database passwords, session tokens) into any web-based tool, including this one
- Use DevKit4You for testing, development, and learning — not for processing secrets from live production systems
- Be aware that your browser history and clipboard may retain data you paste into our tools

DevKit4You may contain links to external websites (such as documentation, references, or CDN providers). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of those external sites.
10. Availability and Changes
We reserve the right to:
- Modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of DevKit4You at any time without notice
- Add or remove tools from the suite
- Update these Terms of Use — continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when material changes are made.
11. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from use of DevKit4You shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the appropriate courts.
